February 16, 2019 Event Update
Tampa, Fl. (November 20, 2018) – We, at Fire Fist Boxing Promotions, are a family owned and run business and we consider our fighters and fans to be a part of our family as well. Running a successful boxing event requires our 100% dedication. Due to the loss of one of our family members, we have decided to cancel our February 16, 2019 event so we can regain our footing and allow our hearts to heal.
As many of you know, Katherine, the beloved wife of Fire Fist Boxing Promotions CEO Jody Caliguire passed unexpectedly on October 16, 2018. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends. We would like to thank everyone who has kept us in their thoughts and prayers, including our amazing friends and fan base. It has brought solace to our broken hearts.
Our dedication to our fighters is very personal to us and they deserve our best. Likewise, we are dedicated to producing top events like the successful and sold-out Night of Champions event that was held on October 6 at The Coliseum in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. We will continue to promote our amazing fighters at their upcoming events.
